Theo’s Social Club – your neighbourhood wine bar
Sam and Maddy are the wonderful local couple behind Theo’s. Born from an appetite of chasing good wine, great food, and exceptional experiences all over the world, they have brought the things they love to Noosa. Which is their exciting and ever-changing wine list, great accompaniments, and a relaxed environment for you to have a good time.
Why the name Theo’s? Because Theophilus is Sam’s middle name and he’s dreamt of opening a wine bar called Theo’s for the past decade. And now he has – Theo’s opened on 17 December 2020.
Get your weekend off to a great start with an afternoon cocktail, or a late-night rendezvous with some wine and cheese. Open from 4pm till midnight, Thursday to Monday, with the kitchen open all the way to close, you’re all set for a laid-back evening.
Choose your setting and find your place
With three distinct areas to choose from, Theo’s is great all year round and to suit every style. Alfresco dining is perfect in the warm afternoon sun and as night falls, you’ll relax surrounded by fairy lights and large table candles.
The lower level has sociable bar seating and benches where you can embrace the vibe of the bar. With the air conditioning blowing on hot days, you’ll be kept nice and cool.
The retro loft is warmly lit with comfy couches and beautifully designed, featuring dial-up phones, funky artwork and deep, rich colours. This is the idyllic lounge area to lounge around with good company and great wine.
Food and drink that’s made for socialising
Although their focus is on wine, they have a great variety of cocktails. They use local produce and closed-loop practices to offer a small list of divine drinks. The Watermelon Social Club is especially good and dangerously morish!
The cocktail list changes with the seasons to incorporate the best local and seasonal products to deliver a diverse menu to suit many tastes. Their visual wine list has 80+ labels stretching the length of the bar. Not sure which to try? Then ask Sam!
Let’s not forget the nibbles! Their grazing plates emanate European street dining, with olives, cheese, charcuterie, and rotating toast and crudities. Plant-based boards are on offer with house-made dips, mushroom pâté and accompaniments. All their parfaits, pâtés and conserves are made in-house.
Are you ready for a great night?
